What’s missing from this ultra stack?

My girlfriend's training for her second 100k and asked me to help her build a nootropics stack that's more endurance-focused. She's already using cordyceps, Rhodiola and L-theanine with a little caffeine from yerba mate. I suggested adding alpha GPC and beta alanine but she's unsure about anything that might mess with her stomach midrun. Anyone here use noopept or phenylpiracetam for long runs without crash or GI issues? She's also experimenting with microdosing but only on recovery days.

Wow, that's a serious accomplishment! You're right to be cautious about GI issues, especially on a long run. Alpha-GPC is a great cognitive aid, but can cause stomach discomfort if not dosed carefully. Beta-alanine is generally more useful for shorter, higher-intensity efforts. For a 100k, its benefits are minimal, and the paresthesia can be a major distraction. I'd also be very careful with Noopept or phenylpiracetam. They're powerful nootropics but come with the risk of a significant mental or energy crash, which is the last thing you want deep into a race. I don't know how much time she has before her 100k, but if she'd really want to try those supplements, better to do so in advance to see how her body reacts! If her current stack has been working well, then I'd stick to that. Of course, proper nutrition and hydration are also just as critical!

Thanks for your thoughtful and thorough breakdown of each supplement. I appreciate your warning about the risk of a crash from noopept or phenylpiracetam, since avoiding that is our top priority. Her 100k is in late fall, so we have a few months to carefully test things during her longer training runs. Since you brought up good points about my first ideas, do you know of any other compounds that help with late-race mental focus but have a low risk of GI issues? We definitely won't try anything new on race day and your advice to focus on nutrition and hydration makes sense.
