I'm really interested in what long-term use of Ginkgo Biloba does. Also, what are the risks if someone takes too much 5-HTP? Has anyone felt side effects or know what to be careful about? I'd love to hear any thoughts or personal stories!

Using ginkgo biloba that long is usually safe for most people but in rare cases, mild headaches or stomach upset and yeah it can also thin your blood, so watch out if you're on blood thinners.
Taking too much 5 HTP on the other hand though can lead to nausea, dizziness, or worse...serotonin syndrome especially if combined with other meds affecting serotonin, maybe talk to a doc if you're mixing supplements

Bro that's a really high dose of 5 htp, and combining it with other serotonin-boosting supplements could seriously increase your risk of serotonin syndrome. Just curious though, what made you decide to take such a large amount and stack it with other serotonergic stuff? It might be worth rethinking that .

Ginkgo Biloba for long term use is actually considered safe for most people. The main things to watch out for are mild headaches, upset stomach, and a slight blood thinning effect.
This last one is crucial if your husband is on any prescription blood thinners (like Warfarin or Aspirin) or has a bleeding disorder, it could increase the risk of bruising or bleeding.
