I've been diving into some research about GABA and its role in promoting calmness, aiding sleep, and sharpening focus. I'm really interested to know if anyone here has had any luck with naturally boosting their GABA levels, maybe through diet, supplements, or just lifestyle tweaks? I'd totally love to hear about what's worked for you (or what hasn't)

If you're after the full natural course then there are a few things you can try. Fermented foods like kefir, kimchi or yogurt have plenty of probiotics which can help GABA production. Foods with glutamic acid like broccoli, spinach or lentil are a another good choice. If you're a teal lover, green tea is an excellent choice because it's rich in l-theanine.

If GABA is so essential for calm and focus, why isn't it a bigger part of mainstream treatment for anxiety and sleep issues? Are we too quick to medicate instead of exploring natural, body-first solutions that might actually work better?
